Hi, my name is Yasu!

I am a cinematographer and photographer based out of Honolulu Hawaii.

I was born in Iowa and spent my childhood in the San Francisco Bay Area. During my teens I spent most of my time in Japan and lived there until I was 23.

Cinematography and storytelling is my passion. After college I realized getting a corporate job was not for me and immediately went to go buy my first camera, which took me a few years to pay off but was the best decision I ever made!
